Is Checkpit free?
Yes. Your first vehicle is free. Each extra vehicle is a one-time purchase ($2.99 in the US; local prices vary), with no subscription. The app shows a small banner ad.
Do I need an account?
No. Your records are kept on your phone. Signing in with Google is optional and adds an automatic cloud backup.
Is there an iPhone version?
No. Checkpit is for Android only, on Google Play. The community board also works in a web browser.
Which units and countries does it support?
Miles or kilometers, gallons or liters, and fuel economy in MPG (US or UK), km/L or L/100 km. Renewal reminders cover the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Mexico.
Can I move my records from another app?
Yes. Fill in the Checkpit CSV template and import it. You can also export everything to CSV at any time.
What happens to receipt photos?
They are read by Google AI to fill in the form and are not stored. To read them on your phone only, turn this off in Settings > Privacy.
